How could you have a section about plays without mentioning him? Personally, I don't have much liking for his works..but I suppose they are pretty important in the scheme of things. Here are some of his works..
Histories Julius Caesar Henry V Richard III
Comedies The Taming of the Shrew A Midsummer Night's Dream Much Ado About Nothing
Tragedies Romeo and Juliet Macbeth Hamlet King Lear
Tragicomedies Twelfth Night Measure for Measure The Merchant of Venice

Shakespeare is a great playwright I love his plays but they were mainly made for the stage not to read in English class. I actually prefer to watch Shakespeare plays rather than read it. I remember earlier this school year I had to do the play Midsummer Night's Dream for drama class and I played the part of Hermia and I would have to say that it was far much better to act it out than just read it because Shakespeare doesn't add much detail it's mainly all dialogue.

His stories are pretty interesting, but I like to be able to understand something the minute I read it. Not have to read the footnotes and stuff to get it, ha.
