Dear America is a series that is probably more for people in middle school, but I still love it! It is a rather large collection of diaries spanning all across history. From the Salem Witch Trials, to Vietnam, they've got it all. There are several different authors that write them, so the writing style varies. They are extremely interesting and I definitely recommend them. These are some of my favorites...
The Winter of Red Snow by Kristiana Gregory When Will This Cruel War Be Over? by Barry Denenberg My Heart is in the Ground by Ann Rinaldi Color Me Dark by Patricia C. McKissack Christmas After All by Kathryn Lasky Where Have all the Flowers Gone? by Ellen Emerson White

Oh my god, I was the dumbest kid EVER! I thought that the girls who "wrote" the diaries were real. It took me forever to realize that they were fiction. But I loved them. I read one from the Mayflower and one from the Titanic...they were good...I'm so dumb
